The prefab houses manufactured by CDPH (Chengdong Prefabricated Housing) utilize a fully galvanized elevated floor system with a clearance height of 300 mm. This design ensures smooth underfloor ventilation, preventing ground moisture infiltration and maintaining a dry indoor environment.
The structural frame is constructed from hot-dip galvanized steel, which offers stable quality and excellent corrosion resistance. The galvanized coating adheres well and resists peeling, making it highly suitable for humid environments.
Since standard EPS-insulated wall panels have poor fire resistance, the kitchen units in CDPH prefab houses are upgraded using a composite wall structure: light steel keel + glass wool insulation + calcium silicate board. This improves fire protection and enhances safety in functional areas such as kitchens.
Due to challenging site conditions and the lack of access to large-scale concrete pouring, the prefab houses are selected for their minimal foundation requirements.
Elevated flooring eliminates the need for on-site ground reconstruction, significantly reducing the volume of concrete required for construction.
