1. Large volume and complete facilities. The construction area is about 31,500 square meters, including 324 sets of container houses.

2. There are many camps and the cycle is long. 6 camps are shipped in 14 batches. PVOC inspection, etc., is extremely challenging to organize stocking and shipping

3. The pipeline is long, the climatic conditions are complex, and some of it is located on a plateau. Therefore, ventilation treatment is considered for insulating glass.

Project Description

The East Africa Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP) project is a 1,443-kilometer cross-border pipeline project designed to transport heavy and waxy crude oil reserves located on Lake Albert in Uganda to Tanga end point on the east coast of Tanzania for export. The maximum capacity of the system is 216,000 barrels per day. The Uganda crude oil export pipeline project starts from Tilenga CPF in Uganda (the starting point of the link line) and ends at Tanga Port in Tanzania. The total length is 1539km, including: main line 1443km, link line 96km. 392km in Uganda and 1147km in Tanzania; 6 pumping stations, 2 decompression stations, 82 valve rooms, and 20 electric heating stations on the whole line (17 joint with valve rooms, 3 separate). The project is owned by Total Exploration and Development Company (upstream, contact line part) and Total East Africa Midstream Company. The planned construction period is 27 months. The total contract value is about 6 billion US dollars.
